Penny is a Surface Pattern Designer with a BA from RMIT University in Melbourne. She has created playful patterns and designs for the textile, home, and fashion industries, working across Australia, the UK, and Sweden.

She has designed for well-known Swedish brands such as Borås Tapeter and Hemtex, and spent over a decade creating children's wear for the Swedish fashion brand Lindex, where her babywear range became the industry leader in Sweden. Today, she runs her own freelance studio, Penny Bernhardsson, where she continues to bring colorful ideas to life through surface pattern design and illustration.
